Ethiopian Trade Beads


These irregular shaped cubed beads are made in Ethiopia by the Turkana people and have been traded across different continents for over 100 years.  Made from recycled aluminium they are light in weight and smooth in texture. Minor chips and dents in some beads is part of their patina.

Beads measures approx .5cm each.  Roughly 340 beads per string.  Drop measures 96cm.
