These moulded plastic dollies known as ‘Clonette Dolls’  have an interesting history – they originated in Ghana during the colonial era and were the first industrially produced doll in Africa. Loved by many around the world, they hold a more significant importance to African mothers and children as they are commonly used as a guardian for pregnant mothers.
